It’s not often that I give a birthday dedication on my blog, but this one is a must. DJ Bliss, aka Marwan Parham, is not only the hottest DJ in the Middle East, but one of the people who I am truly honoured to call a friend.
Ever since I met Marwan, life hasn’t been the same. There are some people who come into your life for a reason and Marwan is one of those rare people who I consider a blessing in disguise. Not only does he provide the soundtrack to my life, he makes me laugh until my sides hurt. And he’s not sore on the eyes too!
With a smile that can light up any room and talent that keeps me dancing until my feet hurt, DJ Bliss is THE man you want spinning at your party. I am honoured and privileged to call him a friend. Talent, swagger and class – what more do you want?! 🙂

You all probably know that I am the poster child for #411 Saturdays at People by Crystal with The Real Flava. I haven’t missed a night since I moved back to Dubai permanently at the beginning of the year, just because it is my favourite night out of the week. The music is always on point, the crowd is always amazing and it’s a great chance to be reunited with the crew.
So imagine my surprise as I danced my socks off this weekend only to turn around and see Ne-Yo partying on our table. Yes! The one and only Ne-Yo! Having seen him at Atelier Live last month brought back some incredible memories and truly cemented what an amazing performer he is live.
Ne-Yo was in town for a private event, but thanks to DJ Neptune he stopped by People by Crystal for my friend DJ Say-G’s birthday. This incredible weekend long shindig involved yachts, clubs and a trip to Blue Marlin Ibiza-UAE that I will share with you all soon, but until then, this week’s dose of “Music Mondays” is dedicated to Ne-Yo and his latest song with Calvin Harris that I just cannot get out of my mind.
It’s our weekly reunion – the one night of the week where my friends and I all get together to dance the night away on what was voted TimeOut Dubai’s “Best Urban Night”.

Yesterday I was going through a tonne of pictures and came across a batch from Armani Prive in Dubai. Saturday nights are the #411 nights held at the world’s tallest tower, Burj Khalifa. Hosted by The Real Flava, this is where Dubai’s hottest DJ’s, DJ Bliss and Mr Shef Codes spin the best R’n’B music in town. Yeah we may all have work the next day (Sunday is a working day in Dubai) and we will all most probably be zombies at work, but it is the one night that we cannot miss!

If you are ever in Dubai, make sure you check this night out. As a true 411 girl, with a flight to catch at 8am back in May, I still managed to party my ass off, although I suffered for my sins the entire flight back to London! But I would totally do it all over again!
And to my friend Yasmin, I’m sorry I drag you out every Saturday night when I’m in Dubai knowing you have to drive to Abu Dhabi at 7am the next day for work. You know I love you!
