Beyoncé and mother Tina Knowles’ House of Deréon collection is finally launching in the UK next week exclusively at Selfridges and it’s about time too. The stunning ‘City Jungle’ A/W 2011 collection will be available exclusively at Selfridges branches in London, Birmingham and Manchester Trafford stores, as well as online from September 12th.
The line brings the jungle to the city with a range of exotic prints, from leopard and snake to African rose. Think statement dresses, jumpsuit bodies and ultra-suede shorts, perfect for effortless day to evening dressing. It’s the kind of collection
House of Deréon was inspired by Tina Knowles’ mother, the late Agnés Deréon, and began in Louisiana over 85 years ago. Agnés was a skilled seamstress and dressmaker whose artistic spirit has influenced three generations of stylish women. Tina Knowles is the visionary creative director behind the brand, infusing trend breaking style mixed with pure attitude. Beyoncé collaborates with her mother on every aspect of the collection as her unmatched sense of style and chameleon-like take on fashion serves as the muse and inspiration for the line.
