Emma Watson for Lancôme

Hermione Granger has ditched the wizarding robes and out pops Emma Watson’s campaign for Lancôme. Emma’s campaign video for new fragrance Trésor Midnight Rose is purple-tinted to match the purple-tinted perfume bottle and shows the actress working sleek hair and deep red lipstick through a series of missed connections with a Parisian bookseller, played by French actor Cyril Descours.

She is the perfect pixie in my opinion and I love her fashion choices of late.

A Symphony Wonderland

Nothing makes me happier than a campaign that stands out from the crowd. After all, we weren’t made to blend in. And the campaign that has me giddy with delight, is the A/W 2011 campaign from Dubai store, Symphony.

As Symphony approaches its one year anniversary, they have recruited model Alden Steimle to join Raina Hein who featured in their first ever campaign for a shoot that centres on the theme of two best friends spending a girly weekend together with a magical twist. Queue hundreds of gorgeous lace-covered balloons, masses of twinkling fairy lights and the dusky pink Symphony emblem caught in the background and you have one seriously breathtaking campaign.

I wish my weekends with my best friend were this spectacular!

Take a look at the video and tell me what you think.

The campaign has been shot to represent who the Symphony Woman is; fun, intelligent, beautiful and enigmatic. Symphony is located on the Ground Floor of Fashion Avenue at The Dubai Mall. It’s worth a trip to Dubai just got get lost in this beautiful store.

For more updates from Symphony, check out their Facebook page and follow them on Twitter. Yala go do it now!

J’Adore Dior: The New Film

So last night saw the unveiling of the highly anticipated new film from Dior starting Charlize Theron for the J’adore fragrance. Shot by Jean-Jacques Annaud and photographed by Patrick Demarchelier, the actress is joined on-screen with one rather memorable screen icon.

I’m a Dior Addict addict, but even I have to admit, this is so classy it makes my head spin.

Check out the full range of products from the J’adore collection here.

Cashmere a la Claudia Schiffer

Claudia Schiffer’s cashmere line is something I can totally imagine spending the winter months living in. The collection which has been developed in a joint venture partnership with family-owned luxury German cashmere company Iris von Arnim and Claudia as Creative Director, wholly encapsulates Claudia’s aesthetic signature style. It embodies an effortlessly chic range of great silhouettes in a series of pieces that comprise every element of knitwear that a woman would want to wear each day. Using Iris von Arnim’s heritage and experience to produce, manufacture and distribute the collection, it is ensured each piece is created using the highest quality yarn and techniques.

Claudia Schiffer teams up with Camilla Akrans for a Hitchcock-esque lookbook photographed for the cashmere line. Sporting the autumn range full of prints and lush knits, Claudia is full of mystery and intrigue in the shoot’s woodsy setting.

Bye Bye Entourage!

The final series of Entourage is almost upon us and I can’t tell you how sad I am about this. One of the best shows to ever hit the TV, Entourage is one show I can watch over and over again, after Friends.

So much of the show is about the male characters. I mean sure Vinny Chase makes my knees weak and Johnny “Drama” makes my sides split and the genius that is Ari Gold – well he’s a legend within himself! But one character who has held her own in amongst the boys is Sloan McQuewick, played by actress Emmanuelle Chriqui.

Last year, Emmanuelle topped AskMen.com’s “Most Desirable Women” list and it’s not hard to see why. Multi-talented and strikingly beautiful, the Canadian actress is also the voiceover in the “Call of Duty: Black Ops” game!

So as we prepare to say farewell to our favourite characters when the series returns for a final time on July 24th, make sure you check out the “Tribute to Entourage”. So long to the original wolf pack – it’s been emotional!
