Alexa Chung covers Harper’s Bazaar

One of my favourite bags may be named after her, but I really am not a big fan of Alexa Chung. I like her style, but do I think she deserves all that attention? Nah. However, I will admit that her cover for Harper’s Bazaar is simply breathtaking. I put it down to the Ellen Von Unwerth effect. I mean when has she ever shot an editorial that was stunning?!

Shot in Notting Hill, Alexa’s Sixties-inspired shoot includes fashion from the likes of Chloe, Burberry, Prada and Stella McCartney. Still not an Alexa convert, but I do love the shots.

Beyonce for Harper’s Bazaar UK

I just had to stop and stare at the cover of UK edition of Harper’s Bazaar for a few seconds as Beyonce kinda took my breath away. How killer does she look!? Covering the September issue of the publication, Beyonce absolutely sizzles in a stunning red floral-applique Gucci dress and some serious smokey-eye makeup!

The accompanying editorial shot by Alexi Lubomirski captures the world’s most famous female singer in some breathtaking shots. Check out the behind-the-scenes video here.

Lea Michele for Harper’s Bazaar

Another day, another September issue. This time its the US edition of Harper’s Bazaar and Glee star Lea Michele is on the cover.

In the interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the 25-year-old revealed that she was told she was not pretty enough, and should consider a nose job. She said: ‘How many managers told me, “Get a nose job. You’re not pretty enough”? But I proved them wrong.’

These shots definitely prove her critics wrong as she sports some seriously high fashion!

Looking stunning in a belted Gucci gown.

Beautiful in Lanvin

Floral Moschino

Regal in Giambattista Valli

Floral-applique in the form of Valentino

Satin Jumpsuit worn on the cover by Yves Saint Laurent

I have some serious couture dress-envy! Read the full interview here.

Anne does London

I am such a London girl at heart. Nothing makes me happier than a day exploring the city I was born and raised in, because no matter where I am in the world, London is home. These pictures of Anne Hathaway for the cover of the August edition of Harper’s Bazaar US capture London in a way that makes me proud to be a Londoner.

Photographed by Alexi Lubomirski and styled by Julia von Boehm, Anne wears notable looks from the fall collections including Prada, Alexander McQueen and Givenchy. I absolutely adore this editorial!

Claudia Schiffer for Harper’s Bazaar

At 40 years old and with 24 years work in front of the camera, Claudia Schiffer proves she hasn’t lost that supermodel sparkle in a new swimwear shoot for Harper’s Bazaar.

In the new shoot, Claudia shows off the body that landed her contracts with some of the world’s biggest fashion houses and over 500 cover shoots for magazines around the globe. Despite being mother to three children, Caspar, Clementine and Cosina, the supermodel proves she is still in possession of her enviable, ultra slim figure. I am majorly jealous!

Seen in this final shot, Claudia models one of her own knitwear designs, a blue hand-knitted cardigan coat which retails at £865. Claudia is using the knowledge she’s acquired as a model to launch her own fashion line – injecting her supermodel sparkle into a range of knitwear.

The model has almost 24 years experience of working it in front of the camera, but she’s only recently taken a leap of faith to produce her own clothing line.

In the interview which accompanies the new shoot she revealed that she is confident yet very nervous about her collection. She told the magazine: ‘It’s the first time I have put my name to something. I feel very confident, but also very nervous. Who knew? Maybe it will just be me, the only person in the whole world who likes it. I’ve worked far too long in the fashion industry that I could just sell out. I always knew I wanted to do something that I would love myself, something to be proud of. And there was never a product I really loved. I’ve had a lot of friends who said I was insane. But for me, it’s not just about the money.’

The July Issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK is out on Monday June 6th.

It’s Britney b***h! The pop princess is back looking stunning as ever for the cover of Harper’s Bazaar in one of my favourite dresses this year; the star dress by Dolce & Gabbana. I love this!
