Confessions of a Shoe Addict: Jerome Rousseau

I recently came across shoe designer Jerome C. Rousseau and my heart literally skipped a beat. His designs push the boundaries of modern footwear with plenty of pizzazz and some serious clout.

Modern art, European design, pop culture and nightlife are some of Jerome’s inspirations. “I initially think in terms of shape, silhouette and structure when I design.  It’s later on that I bring fashion in the equation”.

Jerome firmly believes his shoes should be as colourful and experimental as the women who wear them. If not more so. Trotting around in his shoes is more of an experience than taking a walk. I am definitely a fan!

Jerome’s collection is stocked at Bloomingdales in Dubai, online and in Saks Fifth Avenue, at Harvey Nichols worldwide, Browns and Oxygen Boutique in London.
