I tweeted last week that I had died and gone to couture heaven when I attended the preview for the collection at Harrods. Even now, going over all the pictures I’m almost out of words! Genius collection!! I AM IN LOVE!!!
Ever seen a picture of Cheryl Cole and had clothes envy? I mean the girl has some incredible dresses from the hottest designers in the world, but now you could own one of Cheryl Cole’s personal dresses through an auction, in aid of the star’s newly launched charity – the Cheryl Cole Foundation. The singer is selling 20 of her most treasured outfits, looks which she has previously worn on her birthday, on the X-Factor and during Girls Aloud performances.
“I’m going to miss all of the outfits I have given because they each have a different story and memory attached to them,” she told Vogue.
Via ASOS Marketplace, Cheryl’s dresses will be sold according to the lowest unique bid, which means the lowest amount not bid by anyone else wins the individual piece. The star set up her charity in conjunction with The Prince’s Trust in February this year, in order to raise money for disadvantaged young people from the North East of England.
Now the only problem here is Cheryl is absolutely tiny! I’m talking like a UK size 4 tiny! So either its some major grafting at the gym or starvation, but if you want to get your hands on the likes of Herve Ledger, Julien Macdonald, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Cavalli, sacrifices may have to be made!
The auction will run from 13th – 24th June. Eleven dresses will be available to bid on from the first day of the auction, with a new dress released every weekday until the auction closes.Visit the website for more details.
Roberto Cavalli tweeted this picture of the cover of Vogue Turkey earlier today and I am in love with it! Model Anna Jagodzinska is the epitome of the beach goddess in this complete Cavalli look. Wish I looked half as good on the beach!
Ask me who my favourite designer is and hands down I would have to say Roberto Cavalli. I love his flair for print and colour and they way his clothing is made for a women unafraid of showing off her personality and wild side. So when I got the chance to attend a lavish dinner thrown by the man himself at Dubai’s Cavalli Restaurant and Lounge, I absolutely jumped at the chance!
The night was full of entertainment from light jugglers, a live performance from singer Nalaya and Moulin Rouge style dancers! The venue was packed to capacity with the city’s fashionable best.
I was lucky enough to get to speak to the man himself and asked what he loved about the city. He laughed and replied, “Bella, I love everything!” I couldn’t really argue with that! He graciously posed for photographs and said that he would return to Dubai in October to host the most fabulous Halloween party – put the date in your diary from now!!
