Harrods launches The Review

My favourite retailer in the world, Harrods of London, has just launched its first online magazine. The Review features exclusives interviews with designers, coverage of events and all that is fabulously stylish in store and on Harrods.com!

The first edition features an interview with designer Antonio Berardi, trend reports on AW’s hottest fashion and editor Nicola Copping’s 5 timeless classics which includes the most stunning Valentino lace dress and my signature Chanel red lipstick!

If you love Mini-bags just as much as me, make sure to check out the gorgeous Chloé “Mini Lily” bag that is featured in the edition. It just made it on to my wish list!

Oh I can just see this monthly publication causing some serious damage to my wallet! But as you only live once, you may as well do it looking your absolute best!

Matthew Williamson Pre-Fall 2011

British designer, Matthew Williamson’s Pre-Fall collection brings high drama and a Seventies-edge to evening dresses. The seductively bohemian collection brings together bright colours, kaleidoscope prints and touches of embellishments in the ultimate combination of flirty frocks. I’m in love.

The collection is available in Harrods of London and online at SSense.

Celebs love Marchesa

You always remember the first time you fell in love. For me, my love affair with Marchesa began when I saw Jennifer Lopez in the gown above at the 2007 Golden Globe awards. Her sari-style black with gold embroidered trim gown made my heart ache for a similar dress, to the point where I actually had to get my tailor to make me a dress just like it.

Since then, Marchesa dresses and gowns have graced many a red carpet and been seen on countless celebrities at film premieres.

Co-founded by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, the elegant eveningwear that is signature to the Marchesa Collection is inspired by vintage and Asian influences, fusing high fashion with an eclectic aesthetic.

Marchesa is available in London at Harrods and in Dubai at Boutique One.

Roberto Cavalli A/W Preview

If you are looking for a gown that has some serious ‘WOW’ factor, look no further than the A/W 2011 collection from Roberto Cavalli. I tweeted last week that I had died and gone to couture heaven when I attended the preview for the collection at Harrods. Even now, going over all the pictures I’m almost out of words! Genius collection!! I AM IN LOVE!!!

Leighton Meester & Vera Wang at Harrods

Last week I told you all about Vera Wang’s latest fragrance, ‘Lovestruck‘. Well the fragrance launched exclusively in Harrods yesterday and face of the campaign, Leighton Meester and designer, Vera Wang, were in store to sign bottle of the perfume to a crowd dressed in pink!

After walking the pink carpet, Leighton and Vera conducted some interviews and met with fans who had been queuing up for hours to meet the Gossip Girl star. The 25-year-old actress rocked a pair of leather trousers and a top by Vera Wang. Her outfit was accessorized with Brian Atwood shoes and jewellery by Dannijo. I asked her how she kept herself looking so beautiful and fresh. She said the key is lots of water and a good moisturiser!

Thank you Harrods for organising such a fun event. No wonder why you are my favourite store in the world!

My Marchesa Love

Out of all the dresses I have come across, there’s always one that sticks in my mind. Recently, it’s been the silk-organza pleated dress from Marchesa that I tried on in Harrods a few months ago.

This Marchesa dress is strapless, has pleated embellishment at bodice, a softly structured internal bodice, asymmetric ruffles at bodice, a tiered ruffled skirt, a concealed zip fastening at back and is fully lined. It is absolutely exquisite!

Browsing on Net-A-Porter earlier I came across the dress in a gorgeous bronze colour. To say that I have fallen in love all over again would be an understatement.

The knife-pleated bronze silk-organza dress with dazzling crystal embellishment is a true show-stopper. *Sigh* I’m off to dream about it now.

Bisous xoxo

Harrods: Magical by Night

Last night I decided on a little impromptu photoshoot outside my favourite store in the world, Harrods of London. It was a beautiful night yesterday in London, although slightly windy, but I was absolutely enthralled in Harrods window displays entitled “Secret Garden”. Stunningly captivating, I walked around the outside of the store snapping away at the beautiful windows.

Congratulations to the Visual Merchandising team at Harrods. The windows are absolutely beautiful!
