Style of the Week: Diane Kruger
Diane Kruger looks simply breathtaking in a stunning gown from Elie Saab’s Couture Collection for 2011. Stepping out on the red carpet at ‘The Ides of March’ movie premiere at the 68th Annual Venice Film Festival, Diane lets the dress do all the talking by keeping accessories to a minimum and keeping her makeup clean and simple. Love this!
Lusting After Lace!
Remember the Mango lace dress I have been lusting after for months!? Well its almost in stores and I honestly can’t contain my excitement at getting my hands on it. But I really hope I’m not jinxing myself and that it sells out before I can get my hands on it. So here’s a note to all my blog readers; please if you see it in stores, let me know!!
The dress is part of Mango’s stunning Fall Collection which is modeled by the gorgeous Isabeli Fontana. She replaces Scarlett Johansson as the face of the brand. Photographed by Terry Richardson, these seductive shots taken in Paris are full on glamour and by far one of the best highstreet campaigns I’ve seen yet.

Dior’s Blue Tie Collection
Dior’s latest “Blue Tie” collection for Fall has gotten me in the mood for some seriously sexy smokey eye makeup and an urge to hot foot it to the nearest club to dance until my feet hurt. Introducing two new shades of Nail Vernis in Blue Denim and Tuxedo, as well as eye palettes and evening essentials, this is the collection I can see myself using all the way through til New Years! Bring on the party!
Available at all Dior Beauty concessions now.
Freja Beha Erichsen & Anja Rubik for H&M Fall 2011
I have to admit I am impressed with H&M. Casting two top models, Freja Beha Erichsen and Anja Rubik in their Fall 2011 advertising campaign is one pretty shrewd move. Following Gisele’s collaboration earlier this year for the high street retailer, the use of models for high street campaigns is one that most definitely works and this is one campaign that has most definitely caught my attention.
Photographed by Terry Richardson, the models are featured wearing soft knits and some seriously covetable outwear including capes and coats, perfect for Fall. Now if only I could have legs as skinny as them! (One can only wish!)
Rachel Weisz for Bulgari
There is something incredibly beautiful about Rachel Weisz and her latest advertising campaign for Bulgari captures her beauty exquisitely. Rachel takes over from Kirsten Dunst and Julianne Moore as the face of the new Bulgari Fall Winter campaign lensed by Mert & Marcus.
Wearing nothing but the goods she’s advertising, there’s a certain elegance to these shots that some up Bulgari perfectly for me. But I have to admit that lion is scaring the bejesus out of me!!
Lauren Conrad launches Paper Crown
Reality TV star, Lauren Conrad, has just launched her new clothing line Paper Crown. The youthful collection is for those who like to play dress up in a grown up world. Lauren’s designs are a modern take on classic style, with an emphasis on fit and fabric quality to create staples for the contemporary woman’s closet.
The collection is composed of romantic maxis, chic cocktail attire, menswear-inspired pieces and tailored basics. The result – an understated elegance that is both effortless and wearable.

Unfortunately, the collection is only available so far State-side at Nordstrom, Ron Herman, Fred Segal and Planet Blue.
Juicy Couture Look Book A/W 2011
You hear the words ‘Juicy Couture’ and usually the image of chavs in velour sweats is conjured up. You know the kind that carry a miniature puppy in a bright pink bag whilst they strut down the street with their G-string hanging out! Well be prepared for a shock. The Juicy Couture A/W 2011 Look Book contains no velour!!
Models Frida Gustavsson and Shannan Click are captured by photographers, Claudia Knoepfel and Stefan Indlekofer, in a collection full of girly ensembles including casual stripes, textured coats and capes, skinny jeans, tailored blazers and subtly printed dresses – a perfect transition for the season ahead.
The collection is rounded off with a range of accessories such as eyewear, bags and jewellery that will keep you smiling and looking ever-so-stylish through the colder months!
p.s. I have nothing against Juicy velours sweats. I actually like them, but there has been some SERIOUS over kill with them over the past few years.
Fall Fashion from Primark!
I hate that stores have started introducing their A/W collections even though it’s still only July and we are meant to be in high summer. Well considering the forecast in London today is for showers, you can’t really be that surprised! Although I am not quite ready to give up my shorts and kaftans, here I am blogging about an Autumn/Winter look book which actually made my morning. Yes it’s Primark. Yes it’s full of colour. And yes it’s a bargain!
Surprised? I was! Rich, vibrant colours dominate the collection, with a jumpsuit that I desperately need to get my hands on and plenty of preppy dresses and pussy-bow blouses. Keeping in line with the recent colour-blocking trends, it is a much more grown up collection and one that I can’t wait to get my hands on.
Adriana Lima for Blumarine
Okay seriously, some times it is just not fair that women as hot as this exist!! Supermodel and Victoria’s Secret Angel, Adriana Lima uses her bombshell looks for the Fall 2011 campaign from Blumarine and the result are truly breathtaking! Wearing the Italian label’s animal prints paired with lace, Adriana is flawless with ruby-red lips and smoldering cat eyes. Can I just wake up one day and look like her!?
