Polkadots & Ribbons, Dubai’s most exquisite children’s events company alongside Mamavents hosted an intimate event yesterday to launch the new “Mama Meets” coffee mornings.
Held at the beautiful Circle Cafe, the event for stylishly social mums and their tots was designed to bring together mothers and children in a relaxed atmosphere where mum’s could share experiences and get to know one another whilst the kids were entertained with Arts and Crafts provided by Silver Lake Toys & Hobbies. IT Sugar Roadshow
This weekend, JBR Walk was given a sweet face lift with the IT Sugar Summer Roadshow!
The IT Sugar DJ was joined by the adorable IT Sugar roller girls who were handing out candy and surprise shopping cards that could be redeemed in the Mall of the Emirates store! The roller girls were also snapping away pictures with their camera, taking shots of passers by as they played dress up with the IT Sugar party box. If ever there was a time to don a funky wig and barmy glasses, this was it! Continue reading

With Love from C&C and Fashion Fifth!
Last week Leila Najjar from Fashion Fifth and I attended the Huda Beauty Bash at Capital D Studios in Dubai. After getting lost for about an hour and a half in Al Quoz trying to find the location, one final right turn before giving up and going home for some pizza somehow landed us in the right place! Hurrah!
After being treated to yummy goodies from The Dish, skin consultations from Vaseline and a funky neon pink mani from N.Style, Leila and I puckered up for an Instagram shot, captured by the lovely Serene from Purple PR. I really want another iPhone just for Instagram after my last one drowned in the pool!

Bringing Fashion to Life with Aura B and Fashlink
The wonderful girls at Purple PR and Fashlink put on a great event in Dubai’s sun last week for online boutique, Aura-B which brought online fashion to life in the chic setting of Bo House JBR.
This special designer’s event showcased some of Aura-B’s best independent designers and gave guests the chance to get to know them and Aura-B better. Guests were also able to try and buy pieces from their gorgeous collections at the event whilst feasting on yummy treats from Kitsch Cupcakes and having their makeup done by the wonderful Basma from B.Beautiful. Complete fun in the sun!
Grazia Style Awards: Lady Fozaza
A few weeks back, I attended the Grazia Style Awards at Madinat Jumeirah. This glittering event was full of the city’s hottest designers, fashion houses, bloggers and media and some very special guests including Christian Louboutin and hosts for the evening, Henry Holland and Poppy Delevigne.
Over the next few days, I’ll be sharing some videos I captured on my flip, but today’s post is dedicated to Alanoud Badr, the winner of Grazia’s “Best Local Designer” award for her label, Lady Fozaza.
Alanoud’s family were all there to support her in her win and her mum was the cutest person there! Congrats babe – you totally deserve it!
